The Curious Cabinet is an art exhibition focussing on the animal kingdom, featuring nineteen Portuguese and international artists, touring venues in Covilhã, Porto, Tomar and Coimbra in September and October – but here’s the twist: each artwork is not much bigger than a gerbil, and they are all being exhibited together in a hamster cage!

O Gabinete dos Curiosos é uma exposição de arte centrada no reino animal, com dezanove artistas portugueses e internacionais, percorrendo espaços na Covilhã, Porto, Tomar e Coimbra em setembro e outubro – mas aqui está a reviravolta: cada obra não é muito maior do que um rato-do-deserto, e estão todos a ser expostos juntos numa gaiola de hamster!
