‘A cabinet full of treasures, a presentation of wondrous obscurities and objects. But what if the creature does possess that which we most desire?’

‘The studio has become a place of learning. It is a space to lose and find myself. It is a space of wonder and dreams, the romantic and the poetic. In it I sit. I stand. I fuss. I ponder. I drink tea. But it all starts with a bowl of porridge. And from there objects are moved, things are crudely made, paint is flicked, smeared, objects nudged, tweaked, stacked, assembled, re worked, re purposed - and through the technologies of yesteryear I capture moments from this activity. 

This particular piece is the coming together of something found and something made and lit for a cinematic like effect.’

"O estúdio tornou-se um lugar de aprendizagem. É um espaço para me perder e me encontrar. É um espaço demaravilhas e sonhos, o romântico e o poético. Nele eu me sento. Eu fico. Eu faço barulho. Pondero. Eu bebo chá. Mas tudo começacom uma tigela de mingau. E a partir daí os objetos são movidos, as coisas são toscamente feitas, a tinta é agitada, manchada, os objetos empurrados, ajustados, empilhados, montados, retrabalhados, reaproveitados - e através das tecnologias de outrora eu captomomentos dessa atividade. 

Esta peça em particular é a junção de algo encontrado e algo feito e iluminado para um efeito cinematográfico."
